Oil/Diesel spill at traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:46, Tuesday 25 March 2025

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7337603.

Downham Market. Railway Road junction with Bennet Street.

Heading along Railway Road TOWARD the level crossing, at the traffic lights stop line is a large damp area which has been there for a couple of days. It is not water, but is either oil or Diesel from a vehicle that had been held at the lights.

This will be particularly dangerous to motorcyclists the next time it rains, which, being Britain, will not be a long wait!

Some kind of cleaning operation is required.
