This vehicle is repeatedly parking inconsiderately. Often, blocking pavements restricting access for wheelchairs and pushchairs and anyone with mobility issues. This is a health and safety issue.

  • Council did not have jurisdiction over my problem and referred me to non emergency police. The police’ resources are already stretched so it was reported and no action was taken. This vehicle belongs to a river dweller and parking in this manner is not an isolated case. Many river dwellers residing on the river Lea repeatedly park in inconsiderate ways and it appears there is nothing residents can do about it. There is an excess of rubbish and pollution in the river and my once beautiful environment is becoming less and less desirable. Residents are subjected to verbal abuse when river dwellers are questioned regarding their inconsiderate and antisocial behaviour. Myself and other residents have contacted non emergency police, local council and Canal and river Trust but nobody is able to help.
