Archway leading to communal courtyard is too narrow

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7330109.
This courtyard is shared by approximately eight residents, all of whom have experienced damage to their vehicles due to the narrow and restrictive nature of the tunnel entrance. The tunnel is accessible from Ascot Way, where it passes under a coach house.
The current width of the tunnel makes navigation extremely difficult, and despite residents exercising caution, damage to vehicles has become a common and frustrating occurrence. The issue is exacerbated by the design of the tunnel's supporting pillars, which protrude into the tunnel itself, further limiting the available space for vehicles to pass through safely.
Given that there appears to be sufficient space to modify the tunnel by adjusting the position or structure of these pillars, I would like to request that the council investigate the possibility of widening the tunnel entrance. Such a modification would significantly improve safety, reduce property damage, and enhance the overall accessibility of the courtyard for all residents.

Thank you for the update. Oxfordshire County Council is not responsible for this problem as this is located on non-maintained/not yet adopted highway. This issue will need to be raised with the developer for the area as we have no authority on this highway at present. Sorry we cannot be more help. Kind regards
