2 potholes at lights crossing

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7325102.

There are 2 potholes here, one is getting significantly deeper every day. Lots of lorries use this road and it has been getting worse by the day.

  • I am aware that this area is due to be resurfaced on 7/8 April, but these potholes are very bad and cannot wait until then. Please ensure that they are temporarily filled on an emergency basis.

  • My Car went over it with a real thump this evening, as they are difficult to see at night. They are really difficult to avoid. Could some sort of warning signage be put in place please?

  • I understand that the resurfacing work has now been postponed to the beginning of May. These potholes are a significant hazard and need immediate temporary repairs until the resurfacing takes place.

  • In need of urgent remedial work please. We cannot wait until May. Vehicles have to change direction to avoid it.

  • Just smashed the underside of my car on these as they have been reported and neglected by the council contractors please advise which garage you will want my car taken to to be checked for suspension damage obviously at your expense

  • Any request for compensation relating to an issue on a Bromley maintained highway must be processed via an insurance claim process.   • Why have these holes not been addressed. They’re huge on a main road and as you can tell from the comments are causing lots of issues. I’m surprised it’s taken so long to address them.

  • In many other locations Riney have recently been making temporary pothole repairs. Why have temporary repairs not been made to these potholes? They need URGENT attention.
