Reading The Giant Trash Can After Marathon

Well done council, runners, spectators, organisers for leaving behind a trail of litter including hundreds of plastic bottles in the road and pavements. I wonder what the environmental impact of all this litter still lying around at 9pm on the day. Plastic bottles in the road get flipped up by vehicles into pedestrians & cyclists potentially causing injury. Its such hypocrisy of everyone involved leaving behind such a vast amount of litter including so many plastic bottles. When will plastic bottles be banned from these events? Year on year this problem gets worse. Its not just here alone the Bath Road but all along various parts of this marathon route.
