Waited almost 5 minutes to cross here with my child following the button push. Motor traffic had four complete cycles while we were waiting. Saw several pedestrians deciding to chance it and cross against the lights because they were so frustrated with the wait. Prioritising motor traffic in this way over pedestrians goes against the sustainable travel hierarchy and GCC active travel and road safety strategies. Please alter these lights so pedestrians are not forced to wait longer than 30 seconds to cross.
