Unauthorised removal off protected hedge

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 16:35, Friday 21 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7316185.

The removal off two mature hedges either side of a gravel walkway. Proposed fence will impact pedestrian access to other houses and parking spaces. This has greatly affected the overall aesthetics of the close as all the houses have in place the box hedges planted 28 years ago by the original developer. There is also concern that this will be made in to parking spaces, the deeds state green areas are to remain uniform and maintained.
