Lights poorly timed - dangerous for turning right

Reported in the Traffic lights category by Elliot Briggs at 18:14, Fri 18 December 2015

Sent to Leeds City Council 1 minute later

The box traffic lights do not stay on green for long enough for those coming from Morris Lane/Kirkstall Hill at peak times, this makes it very difficult to turn right from Morris Lane as cars queue right back from the B6157/Bridge Road junction. It is also difficult to turn as cars coming from Kirkstall Hill turning left onto B6157 block any space to join meaning you can be sat there for a long time making thing potentially dangerous especially if the lights change. I think the green time needs extending for this phase (Morris Lane/Kirkstall Hill) to give more of a chance (they are timed to about 20 seconds at the moment) or even a filter arrow to turn right.
