Cracking front wall from pavement eruption growing -5th report - no response

Now 5th reports I've sent requesting urgent action as the pavement eruption which leads to my large front wall now causing very viable damage with a crack from base to top. This has appeared and grown over last two months and I have recorded /reported the damage increase. It is clearly tree roots but the arbiculture dept are awaiting an inspection from you . Clearly fixing the pavement is not main issue - it's what is underneath . Meanwhile the potential for a costly repair is increasing rapidly. Please can you come out and inspect > speak to your colleagues in arbiculture to request tree roots shave and new root barrier (they installed one 7 years ago which has clearly been worked around or broken) . The damage started from midway across pathway >moved along to my wall >significant pavement eruption >signs of faint line on my wall >clear crack on my wall. Really needs swift action as I don't want a major wall collapse /repair especially as on busy thoroughfare for local school and bus route.

  • 13 weeks on since 1st reporting a small line in my wall adjacent to erupted pavement (clearly tree root) I received a visit from my local Councillor Milla guague who is taking up my case with the council depts who are ignoring the fact my wall is being destroyed - the crack now clearly visible , from base to top - estimated cost of wall replacement £10k and risk of damage to my 3 storey house supported by raised front bed /wall - criminal imo

  • Into 16th week with wall crack increasing due to tree roots from public pavement area---council will not investigate as could cost them /out taxes £3k whereas a land slip on my front wall would cost me far more with nothing I can do as tree is council property
