Still there and getting bigger, and what makes it worse is as the road surface is so poor here anyway, it’s not particularly visible until you hit it as I did yesterday- very lucky I didn’t burst a tyre

Can confirm it’s still there, hit it on Thursday morning, took my car to the garage today, they confirmed it’s damaged the wheel bearing so that will need replacing. Be very careful on this stretch of road!

Having avoided this for months following my first report in March this pothole was still there on Monday 7th July when I unavoidably hit it due to a cyclist rounding the corner in the opposite direction. My tyre burst and the bill was £371 to repair. This pothole has already cost £’000 and could be fixed at a fraction of that cost. It is also extremely dangerous for anyone on two wheels.
