Flytipping at former bottle bank location

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 08:21, Saturday 15 March 2025

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7281676.

GCC failed to maintain recycling bins outside the library (not a clever location anyway). Then moved them to the north side of same (still not a clever location - noise, children...) but left the grit bin as was. And so, we now have flytipping next to the latter.

These bins were originally outside the ruinous Burgh Hall which was fine. Except that building is now fenced off (dangerous).

At the very least, you need to move the grit bin to join the moved recycling bins.

However, the best solution is obvious. Directly opposite the library north side is an unused pavement inshot at the barriers to the A814.
