The drain is blocked that runs from Dale Road to Ferry Road
Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by Colin Bourne at 17:18, Fri 14 March 2025
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7280331.
The road surface drain that runs beneath the junctions of Copsewood Road, Dale Road and Ferry Road appears to have collapsed, resulting in water pooling in this area and bubbling to the surface through the drain covers and more recently through the tarmac surface, creating an ever expanding pothole. The pothole is directly in line with the path that traffic has to take because of parked vehicles opposite and the road being narrow. If a repair is not done soon, the council will be faced with numerous tyre, wheel and suspension claims from damaged vehicle owners. This problem has been here for at least 6 months and has now become serious.
