Mud on road causing car to lose grip

Whilst driving along the A422 this morning (Thursday 13th March 2025 at 7.40am) I encountered a thick layer of mud where the lorries are turning out of the quarry. I was travelling at 50mph and hit the thick layer of mud which immediately unsetteled the car - I felt the rear wheels break loose and as I corrected the front wheels then lost traction. Fortunately I slowed enough to maintain control but the incident left me shaken. This level of mud on the road is clearly unacceptably dangerous. I think the key problem here is that the mud suddenly 'starts' at the junction the lorries are turning out of, so you can hit this mud slick at speed without warning. The company running the quarry should be made responsible for keeping the roads clear of mud and safe for other road users.
