Request for paving to improve pedestrian safety - Esher

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:58, Thursday 13 March 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7274123.

I would like to please request your consideration for laying pedestrian paving along the South edge of Esher Green on the Norther boundary of Lammas Lane in Esher.

Currently there is approximately 100m of sand track on the edge of the road which is uneven and prone to flooding in the rain.

When this happens pedestrians on the North side of Lammas are forced to cross an increasingly busy Lammas Lane in the open road before they are able to reach the safety of the demarcated pedestrian crossing lights.

I am concerned for the safety of young children (including my own) and the elderly who are doing this when the sand path flood.

Thank you for your consideration.
