No Lowered Kerbs

There are no lowered kerbs at the end of the pavements leading into Prestonpans Community Centre or Prestonpans Health Centre. Please ensure a lowered kerb is also placed adjacent to the missing one heading towards the Health Centre. The attached photographs show how narrow the space on the road is, yet wheelchair users are expected to share this road with cars.

  • Not fixed, clearly the disabled don't matter to ELC, despite the laws governing the placement of lowered kerbs etc.

  • STLL NOT FIXED - it's ok, wheelchairs will continue to contend with cars and vans on the road whilst trying to access their GP, vote at elections, or otherwise just not be able to attend. Pathetic ELC.

  • Still not fixed, our town's gala next week, looks like I'll be excluded again. Thanks East Lothian Council, worry not, I'll be out and about during the holidays reporting EVERY infraction in the town.
