Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7263107.
The pothole has caused damage to cars for what I would guess to be over 2 months. It fills up the majority of the carriageway when driving away from Manchester airport towards Waters. Due to the 40MPH speed limit of the road it is hard to avoid especially if you don’t know it is there. Even if you do know you would have to either drive fully on the other side of the road risking a head on collision with another car or try and drive a bit over to the other side in doing which driving through lots of stone debris which has been caused by the pothole which could potentially chip your cars paint/ windscreen etc.
It is not the only pothole on the road there are more, one I think is just before the Airport in when driving towards Manchester airport.
If these are left untreated by Cheshire east council like the others, more cars are going to get damaged, or potentially people could be injured.
