Pothole between Filkins and Kencot approximately 60cm long, 42cm wide and 8cm deep

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:45, Tuesday 11 March 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7261828.

The pothole is on the road exactly in the path of vehicles’ tyres as they drive from Filkins to Kencot. The condition of the road is awful and has generated numerous reports on this site. It clearly has been like this for some time but there has been no effort to rectify the situation.

  • The whole section after Filkins and before Kencot needs resurfacing. Cars coming from Kencot tend to drive in the middle of the road round the bend to avoid a whole section of holes, very dangerous. Why can’t this whole section be completely resurfaced as it is from Kencot to the Carterton turn?
