Man hole sunken

This is just near the traffic lights in the left lane, man hole is sunken but also tarmac around none existing, pot hole makes a banging noise when you go over it so it moves it’s getting dangerous as drivers are avoiding it but going into the other lane to do so. It’s been like it for 2-3 months but getting worse
