Poor repair of reported pothole by 20mph sign

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 07:21, Tuesday 11 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7258191.

I previously reported the original pothole which was repaired but I then reported a poor repair as one edge was already breaking up. Latest photo attached. Previous reports below (as I can’t report on the original report as it got closed despite the repair not being done):

As of 3/2/25 I can report that these potholes have been filled but as you can see in the photos there is still a hole, or the filling is already breaking up. Can you get this fixed properly please? Why aren’t they done with the sealed edges to prevent this happening?

  • I reported this problem two months ago and was advised it was actioned to be fixed. As of today the problem is not fixed or even marked up with paint to be fixed. As you can see in the photo there was another repair a metre or two further out of Faringdon on the same carriageway and this repair is now starting to show the same fault of breaking up around the repair so please fix both when the repair team arrives.
