There is a number of houses being refurbished in both The Dale & Beechwood Drive, which is great. The problem is that the paving slabs that have recently been replaced have been damaged again by lorries unloading etc. The grass verges have also been damaged particularly outside 14 The Dale and 10 Beechwood Drive. The paving is a trip hazard for many elderly residents. My concern is as a Council Tax payer this paving has been replaced once within the last year and now needs another repair surely these charges are passed to the builders/owners of the properties having the work done? I would suggest waiting for the work to be completed before repairs are carried out again. As I have previously commented I think it is great the houses are being refurbished etc. but we should not be paying for the damage caused by this work.
