Road surface deteriorating - chipped stones

The road surface is rapidly deteriorating, and stones from underneath the tarmac / surface are causing damage to parked cars when ejected.

Updates

Received response from council advising that depth of deterioration is not severe enough to warrant repair… in the meantime, the road surface will supposedly be subject to periodic reviews. However, what this means for all the loose stone chips being ejected into the road, I am not sure. Presumably they will just fall into the drains… not much action by way of street cleaning to address this.
