Incorrect markings on shared use cycle path

There are two locations on Western Avenue where the shared use cycle path incorrectly has ‘give way’ markings prioritising private driveways.

Whilst these driveways have dropped kerbs which permit motor vehicles to cross the doorway, prioritisation at all crossing points should be in line with the Highway Code hierarchy of road users, and in accordance with Cycle Infrastructure Design, Local Transport Note 1/20.

Please remove these markings from the cyclepath.
