A36 approaching Salisbury

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:04, Thu 3 December 2015

Sent to Wiltshire Council 1 minute later

Every day for three weeks hundreds of motorists have been held up in a traffic jam, which starts on the A36 approaching Salisbury, before the Alderbury turn, and lasts until the College roundabout. There is no clear reason and it happens at all times of day. Current journey times from Southampton city centre to Salisbury are averaging two hours. This is unacceptable for main road used for freight and by commuters and emergency services.
