Potholes everywhere
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 09:30, Wed 2 December 2015
Sent to North Yorkshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 723655.
All of road of High Bond End needs to be addressed. The situation of the road surface has been a real hazard both sides of the road for too long now. Must be 2 years when the first hole appeared which was damaging and causing cars to take avoiding action on a very narrow stretch of road. This has fast become one of the busiest road, causing rapid damage to this area. This needs to be resolved quickly.

These potholes have STILL not been repaired. A couple of poor attempts of patting some asphalt over the top is not a "FIX" but a botch job and waste of money and resources. Back to square one within weeks. The potholes on this bend are DANGEROUS, along with the manhole covers are treacherous for cyclists, and also causing vehicles to avoid them on a blind bend.

Absolutely no attempt at any fixes, all the while more holes are appearing and existing ones are getting beyond severe.
Less severe holes on equally busy roads fixed within days.
This area is just left to decay.

We got spray paint! But it was immediately washed off by the rain the following day. I've been told that the work to repair this area has been added to the "programme of works". After some digging around, the work may commence on the 11/3/16, with road closures on some nights with diversions in place. I've also read it'll last from 3/16 till the 4/17 and is pinned as Tour de Yorkshire, so how solid this info is, don't know.

Should be fixed this week, as there are signs for road closures on a night commencing the 6th April. Fingers crossed.
