Row of fallen, broken trees in road edge
Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 07:42, Wed 5 March 2025
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7227329.
A row of old, broken trees has fallen and is rotting away. Their fractured branches are the only things partially holding them up. Over time, they have gradually leaned towards the edge of the road, where passing vehicles have struck them, breaking them into smaller pieces. The lower trunks now jut into the road like spears, creating both a visual and physical hazard. Drivers instinctively swerve to avoid them, and if left unattended, the trees will eventually collapse fully into the road, posing a serious risk.
