• We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.

• In line with current legislation, a tax warning was served on the vehicle 1/7/25 and a copy forwarded to DVLA. We are awaiting keeper details from DVLA following receipt of these, further enforcement will be considered / actioned. In the meantime, the vehicle will remain on public highway until all our investigations have been completed.
