Potholes reappearing and loose Chippings
Reported via mobile in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 15:01, Tuesday 4 March 2025
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7224759.
The road between Quomp and Yew Tree Gardens along Hightown Road has had a temporary fix of bitumen and chipping. This has left the road with potholes reappearing and loose chippings all over the road causing constant noise and mess with dust and damaging car paintwork from cars now speeding and throwing up the chipping over parked cars. This part of high town riad sees a lot if use with access to Quomp, Kingsfield, Yew Tree Gardens and access to The Junior School and us now in a worse condition than when it was first fixed. Also most if the street markings have disappeared allowing cars to park on dangerous junctions and for long periods of times on double yellow lines.

This is still causing problems to residents. The Chippings have not been cleared and now two windscreens have had stone chip damage from passing vehicles
