I am writing to formally report about the increasingly poor condition of the road and pavement on Laburnum Way leading to Hollingworth Road and other surrounding roads and pavements. The pavement is severely uneven, with numerous cracked and broken slabs, making it difficult and dangerous for pedestrians, especially those with mobility issues. There are several large and deep potholes on the road surface, particularly near the above road, which pose a significant risk to vehicles and cyclists. The road surface is heavily deteriorating and needs fully layering and fixing not just patching up. Other various serious issue is no parking restriction or double yellow line marking especially at the turns and start of road. This is very dangerous as you cannot see the vehicle coming from the other road. These issues are causing damage to vehicles, increased risk of accidents, difficulty for pedestrians particularly the elderly and disabled.
Request that you investigate these issues promptly and take the necessary action to repair the road and pavement. I would appreciate it if you could inform me of the steps you intend to take and the estimated timeframe for completion.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Leslie Macwan Resident- Bromley Area
