Either side of the railway bridge, adjacent to the public footpath, behind wire fences bordering railway land. Newton Road to A3022 not far from Nicholson Road. (Bridge Ref: TOR MLN1).

Updates

Crossing the Newton Road by the Sainsbury's exit is very problematic as its impossible to see what cars are coming up from the Newton Abbott direction if using the existing crossing. There is no indication to the pedestrian what stage the Turn Left is at. It is like Russian Roulette! Attempting to cross the Newton Road itself is even worse as the far lane N A bound traffic has now time allowance for pedestrians. I'm totally pi**ed off to say the least
