Proposed Southern Water 'Rain Garden'

The Rain Garden that Southern Water are installing alongside my driveway will impact my ability to safely reverse into my driveway at 37 Solent View Road. The drop curb area is very narrow and is less than Island Roads own specified minimum width. The Rain garden makes it difficult to maneuver into the narrow dropped curb safely meaning increased time blocking the road, straddling the center white line and in close vicinity to a junction. To aid access and reduce exposure time to danger, the proposed works must include the upgrade of the dropped curb to comply with Island Roads minimum width. This will enable safer access to my driveway.
