Tarmac left in a large pile

Reported in the Roads/highways category by resident hayes north at 08:52, Thu 26 November 2015

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 3 minutes later

On the grass island Welwyn Way & Blackpool Gardens, a large pile of tarmac has been left, by the contracts employed we presume by Hillingdon Council when repairing the hole left when the tree was removed.

As the work has been completed, why leave the tarmac no lights on the grass, unless it has been dumped.

Updates

  • The tarmac was removed, still do not know if wok was carried out by the council or private company.

Just seems a waste of tax payers money, one week the tree removed & all covered up with tarmac, following week all pulled out & a drop kerb put in place, strange
