Cracks in Putney Bridge

Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 17:03, Tuesday 25 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7188175.

The cracks in the SW end of Pultney Bridge seem to be growing and widening. This is probably due to subsidence of the bridge pier or abutments. I am very surprised that you have not placed displacement gauges on the progressing cracks.
