Bollards still missing and vehicles enter and exiting through Little Chesterton
Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 14:39, Tuesday 25 February 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7187182.
The bollard was vandalised and concreted over. Vehicles are now driving through Little Chesterton. This road has been officially closed by OCC and should have originally had a gate installed. When the development is completed it will house 1349 car park spaces and 349 trailer parking spaces who will be able to enter and exit through Little Chesterton. This is the reason the road was officially closed. If CDC need to get the bins emptied that way either get them to change their route or give them a key to a gate if it was to be installed as it was originally approved for a gate. Times are changing and CDC need to be aware of this and accept it for what it is! It's ridiculous that the emptying of bins has priority over infrastructure! It was officially closed BY OCC and this should be an urgent matter.
