Pooling water on Southway

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:20, Tue 25 February 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7186545.

Everytime it rains, water pools at the bottom of my drive way at 25 southway and also pools at 24 Southway.

I have looked at the drains and they dont appear to be blocked so if this can be looked in please

It might be either due to the drains being blocked or the road being uneven

This issue has been present for at least 1.5 years

Updates

  • Water is still pooling down the drive of 25 Southway. When the assessor came out, he only fixed the drive way of number 24.

When I spoke to the team who came out to redo number 24, they investigated the channel that runs down the side of the road and said this was very uneven which was causing the pooling. The unevenness is also a trimming hazard to people crossing the road.

The photos attached were taken on 23rd March, after light rain fall on night of 22nd March 2025.
