Parking on pavement in a restriction area (double yellow lines)

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 15:36, Monday 24 February 2025

Sent to Adur District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7181178.

Parking on pavement in a restriction area (double yellow lines), even by blue badge holders during school start/end times. This makes it dangerous for children and their families to cross due to restricted visibility, especially on a bend with a junction. This is on the corner of Manor Road, outside Miller & Carter Lancing.

Updates

  • Still not sorted! Maybe bollards should be put along the pavement to deter frequent offenders. Sending parking officers once every few months clearly doesn't work!
