Large potholes on side of road

These potholes are on the side of the carriageway along Drift Lane, Location not exact. But due to them being on the edge of the lane and verge, they are causing the edge to disintegrate, this is most likely due to the amount of traffic that are using the verges as passing places, as you will see on investigating a large amount of the verges are being driven on. Due to the edge of the road disintegrating this will only cause more damage to the carriageway and the verges.
