Failed road
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 07:45, Sunday 23 February 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7173391.
I’m concerned at the lack of response to addressing this dangerous road, at night cars drive all over the road and it would be appropriate to be listening to ski Sunday theme tune to fit the dramatic driving required to be safe on this road. Buckinghamshire council are starting to address the minor potholes further up this very road yet Oxfordshire are not. The potholes are dangerous, worsening and embarrassing that even after a bbc report on this road still not resolved. The ‘welcome to pothole world’ sign fits the joke that they are all still there, even though they are all appropriately reported and photographed by several commuters relying on this road. It’s a 60mph road, all approaching bends have potholes and drivers using the wrong side on blind bends. Not sure how much more of a high risk this could be?

Well, as the OCClowns have previously demonstrated we will need physical injuries, blood and forensic levels of photos and information before the road surface actually fails their "safety criteria" .... even then they will dribble on about the road being under consideration in the next budget, then sign off the issue under their snide methods and nothing will happen. The OCC roads east of Bicester seem to be a literal black hole of ignorance where care and maintenance are concerned.
