Sent to Birmingham City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7164349.

Hello my name is David Jarvis the Owners representative of 1-15 Guthrum Close B235JX. Our properties are constantly being flooded onto their private driveway and into their Garages from rainwater that is flowing unchecked from the Highway and pavement. What is needed is the pavement gullies cleaned as this floods and causes access issues to a local shop and wheelchair users and the rainwater flows unchecked onto our driveway The entrance to our private driveway, needs a additional road gully or similar as a part of the rainwater removal from the highway to stop the continuing flooding from the Highway on to our property. This is a simple fix to existing Highway and pavement Drainage will help to stop the flooding. Plaese contact me at djarvisdaw@aol.com Mob 07779030160

Updates

  • The Road and Pavement Gullies were cleaned recently and I spoke to the lorry manager and he suggested that that to stop rainwater flooding iour property we needed a length of Argo drainage at the point where Road joined our private drive which could easily be connected to the highway drainage , we agreed this would stop surface water flooding our Driveway. This should be the responsibility of the City Highways with respect, hopefully this can been Done as soon as possible. Many Thanks David Jarvis/ Director /Flat 2 .
