Overgrown bushes.
Reported via mobile in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 16:10, Wednesday 19 February 2025
Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7158397.
Time for the "annual" trimming of the bushes (third year running) Street sign and lighting obstructed by the bushes. They are also reducing the width of the footpath, and later in the year will be a safety problem with large bramble thorns dangling, risking scratching and/or damage to clothing, both tearing or staining by the fruit.

-
This problem has been reported multiple times over the last three years, all that has ever been done, in that time, is a trim of the bushes around the street sign. The overgrown bushes are a health and safety risk in several ways, the height of the bushes obscures the street lighting on Triton Road, the bramble branches which hang from the bushes are a scratch/clothes damage, and staining risk, as well as reducing the width of the pathway along Easedale avenue.

Still the same, due to the "Nesting Season" may get done at the end of the year, but unlikely. May need to report to the new Mayor after the election.
