Street lighting removed

Reported via iOS in the Street lighting category anonymously at 11:49, Wednesday 19 February 2025

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7156518.

On Monday a team of workers arrived and removed a street lamppost damaged by a car. Half of the street is dark as a result. This is next to a building inhabited by elderly and often disabled residents. The pavement is uneven with lots of cars parked illegally. This is unacceptable. Please, re-install the light as it was because this is a conservation area. Removing he street lighting is unacceptable.
