At the corner of Water Lane, TW9 1TJ and George Street, Richmond. Damaged and loose paving causing a tripping hazard.

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 09:24, Wednesday 19 February 2025

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7155404.

The are damaged pavement flagstones which have broken up into small pieces and have become loose, causing a tripping hazard for pedestrians. There is one particular piece which is protruding and dangerous, (please see photos), especially for an elderly person who may not be aware of it. The flagstones along this road are in generally poor condition, but this particular one has been deteriorating for a few weeks and has recently become worse. The location is at the corner of the shop ‘Sostrene Grene’ and opposite the ‘Cancer Research’ charity shop on Water Lane.
