Big cracks in and damage to the pavement on the high street outside my house.

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Clare MacLean at 15:52, Mon 17 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7147425.

These severe cracks and holes have been getting progressively worse since we moved in, in June 2019. They are a trip hazard and my father fell owing to getting his walking stick caught in one of the cracks. Other people have commented on how dangerous they are especially for the elderly and for disabled people.

Council ref: ENQ251037185

  • Worsening cracks and now a sink hole outside my property making wheelchair accessibility very difficult and a nasty trip hazard. This needs to be dealt with as a health and safety reason and was logged with you on 17th Feb this year but I have heard nothing back.

  • Worsening holes appearing outside my property. Something needs to be done before a pedestrian injures themselves. Wheelchair users struggle with the uneven ground and holes.

  • Hello, it has been nearly 9 months and I have yet to receive a response about the worsening cracks on the public footpath outside my house. Someone is going to break their ankle or leg on the holes in the pavement, some are about 4 inches deep.
