Long and wide crack in the middle of the road

Over time there has been a long crack in the middle of the road from when it was resurfaced. However, over the last year or two this has slowly progressed into a large pothole. Very dangerous for cycles and becoming a hazard for cars and trucks, and it should also be noted that the edges are relatively sharp.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 55.5 days.
