Between Grange Villas and Grange Farm, Checkley Lane.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Cllr Janet Clowes at 17:00, Sun 16 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7142743.

An extremely large pothole has formed on the northern edge of the carriageway and extends some distance towards the centre of the road. It is a significant depth (as can be seen from the debris being deposited alongside the highway bank and along the centre of the carriageway). It has formed a very sharp and deep edge which is further exacerbated by the fact it is concealed by the surface water run-off that is gathering in the hole. This makes this location, (which is also on a bend) especially hazardous to drivers and other road users.
