Wrenbury Heath Road as marked on the map (about 50 metres Wrenbury Hall side of the railway bridge)
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 16:18, Fri 14 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7135747.
This drain (now visible but hidden by water for at least 3 months is clearly blocked. When it rains half the road becomes flooded forcing traffic onto the opposing half of the road on a bend. The road around the drain has broken up with a large hole having developed and large chunks of tarmac breaking away.

A job has been raised and scheduled to be carried out by Cheshire East Highways following the enquiry you logged.
We’ll provide a further update once the work is completed. While we make every effort to keep to the programme, dates can change due to unforeseen factors, such as weather and budget availability.Posted by Cheshire East Council at 09:15, Thu 19 June 2025

The investigation we have done so far has identified that we need to carry out more work to either better understand or resolve this problem. We have added this location to our drainage improvement programme list. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale of works as they will be prioritised based on risk and available budget. Changes might need to be made if we need to prioritise other works due to emergencies or weather events.
In the meantime, if there is any immediate threat to the property or highways safety requiring an emergency response then we ask that this is telephoned through to the team on 0300 123 5020 between 8:30am – 5:00pm or outside of these hours, contact our out of hours team on 0300 123 5025.
