Blind exit from Valley Road into Hursley Road

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 14:35, Friday 14 February 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7135173.

Cars exiting Valley Road into Hursley Road have to go into Hursley Road about three feet before being able to see what vehicles are hurtling donw Hursley Road. The thick hedge prevents any sufficient to safely asses traffic flow. Vehicles driving down Hursley Road do so now at speeds in excess of 30 mph so assessing whether it is safe to move out becomes pure LUCK. I would suggest that vehicles should be prevented from exiting Valley Road into HUrsley road completly as is the case from Brownhill Road. Cars can turn down Common Road and access Park road easily and vehicle can exit from Common Road into Hursley Road with much better safety odds.
