Large pothole between Carr Av a d Faulder Av on Upavon way, near drain cover, one of dozens on Richens drive

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:21, Wednesday 12 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7125684.

Several potholes on Upavon Way, been there for many months,if not years. Road was closed in several places for 5 days in January, only a couple were filled, when I spoke to a workman about why more hadn't been done was told the road was too far gone. My last 4 vehicles have suffered suspension damage, specifically from the state of Upavon way, including, snapped droppings, bent track rod ends and a broken coil spring. I have never made a claim, but yesterday while travelling down Upavon, my VW camper suffered damage after hitting g several potholes, the one pictured, being the one that was last and ultimately caused a weld to break on a side step. I will claim for this as the accumulation over the years has pushed me to it.
