1ft of the road is in a waterlogged ditch.

Bar the cones and don't drive in the 3ft hole nothing is happening to the collapsed road, trees in the road and the encroachment of banks making the road near impassable.
Very dangerous and getting lots of traffic to avoid the massive holes on local roads also reported. So many punctures and cars are broken thousands of pounds of claims being raised.
Just come and fix the roads

The road is worse than before. Another 4 inches has fallen in the ditch. Cars have now nearly driven into the ditch as no margin left.

The good news is the while the road has disappeared the ditch isn't so deep. It's full of mud and stones from the ex road. Plus Spring means it's full of plants, hopefully stopping cars dropping into the ditch. Still very dangerous, just less than before. Once the rain comes it will flood and the road wash away. Then it might be fixed

The good news is the ditch is now full of weeds and plants. It means cars won't drive into it. But any water will not flow just flood.
Plus with another called tree, most people avoid the road as it is so dangerous.
The funny thing they have just put more planning in for 200 homes that would use this horror show of a road as access.
I suppose it will get fixed for that

Brilliant job. Hampshire council instead of fixing the road that had fallen in the ditch just dug the ditch out. Dumped the soil on the edge of the road creating a bank. So the road is fixed by it being 2ft thinner and half covered by soil. So it is now a single track road. Im glad to report that they didn't clear all of the fallen trees that block the other side of the road, but they managed sone of it. They did only close the road for a full day, so finishing it was alot to ask. And who know they might fix the road as now the ditch will undercut the road and wash it away, which will be fun in Winter.
