Multiple potholes across corner

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:27, Wednesday 12 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7124957.

Multiple potholes on the very corner which can cause vehicles to lose control on the sharp bend or have to swerve to avoid. This is a very dark corner at night and so a potentially very dangerous incident could occur unless the issues are resolved.

Council ref: ENQ251036291

  • One of these holes (photo attached) has now reached dangerous dimensions and the hole is right in the middle of the road and almost in the middle of the turn. Urgent repair is needed. A nasty accident could happen if this is not repaired rapidly.

  • Potholes still in the area, Southoxfordshire council must take immediate action. Signatures gathering must start for a class action. People spending loads of money replacing tyres because of the inefficiency of the council. Potholes in the area represent an extreme hazard, putting people at risk of fatal accident.

Residents in south Oxfordshire are paying high council taxes, with increases year after year, however the council seems to not care about people’s safety.
