Rotating cone on crossing box

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 09:14, Wednesday 12 February 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7121985.

Hi. As you cross Colston Avenue, from the old Colston statue plinth towards the central island that meets Baldwin Street, there is a rotating cone on the crossing box on the right. If somebody with a visual impairment uses this cone to cross this road, it leads them directly onto the cycle path on the opposite side, due to the layout of that central island. Please could a rotating cone be installed on the left hand crossing box as well, so that people can stay on the left side and cross to the pedestrian side. Thanks.
